In 1991, Viktoriyas mother, father and older sister arrived at America in order to find better opportunities. Growing up in a musical family, she was bound to make music a part of her life as well. She started recording with Bob Welsh in his studio, The Green Room. She recorded her first demo of cover songs at age 14. Wrote her first song at age 15 and after that kept writing. She started working with a new producer, Derek Euston shortly after that. She completed her first eight-track at the age of 17. It was put up for sale at Media Play and Mr. Mikes Music shop downtown. She keeps pursuing her dreams of performing as a living.
Some of her major influences included Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Madonna, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. What makes her music different is that it is all original. She writes all of her songs as well as performs them. After writing her first song Better Off, she began to write more and more after discovering this talent within her.
Some of her key career highlights include performing at a carnival that consisted of 400 people, and getting her CD into stores. She also would perform at a local karaoke bar very often. She also had played at coffee shops every once in a while.
Fans play an extremely important role in her life because her music reaches out to those people. As an artist, she attempts to construct songs that everyone can relate too and gain hope from. Fans look up to their favorite artists and it is vital to her to make them a part of her life. She enjoys meeting with them and getting to know them as well. She always find a time to catch up with her fans and really appreciate them.
