This to let everyone know, that I am HONORED to be apart of something as SPECIAL as this. You have people like Mike Moore, Lewis Thurston and Hillary Mitchell (Mrs. Carla's daughter) try to pull everyone together. With two weeks to go it looked like it would not go through but, Mike Moore said I will take care of it, I will do it the Ole Fashion Way. I will start making calls(because Sir John Collins has already bought his ticket and we need to make it happen) so Mike did his thing and GOD did the rest. It was predicted to be a bad weather for the whole weekend so I prayed and fasted that it would be a good day in GOD'S EYE. That was Monday, on Friday they said it wolud be a bad storm so Lewis did not leave as intended. I was going to leave on Friday but, my car would not move, and I thought Lewis had left but, he did not leave because of the weather. So he calls me Saturday morning asking am I going to Eustis and I asked him where was he at, and he said Tallahassee. I asked him was he going and he said yes, then I told him yes I was going, and he told me he was on his was right now (you know what that means between 1 and 3 hours) so I Know GOD was at work again. Stanley Moore said when he went to the store to buy food (from money he collected from people to buy supplies) he said when he looked in his pocket the MONEY had grown he couldn't explain it, so he bought food "A Plenty". I was there to see the people walking to the park with covered dishes, it was like the series the Waltons when everyone sits down and have family dinner. Mrs. Carla Mitchell came to save the day with a huge tent with the help of Cleon Mitchell aka Pooh. Stephanie Dodson, and Gail Issac were the SUPER WOMEN, (they were in the pouring rain picking up tents, while us guys went to our cars like wet cats, finally we mustared up enough courge to get out there and help). in a few minutes the clouds cleared and it was a DOUBLE RAINBOW, once again GOD at work. A death is never a good thing but, when a LOVE ONE Passes, it is a good thing to have people to support not only YOU, but your FAMILY, and we were there. For the MOORE FAMILY, whom their Grandmother Mrs Betty Has Gone Home and is waiting for the REST of us to make that journey. Ms. Gladys said that she could not have IMAGINED young people wanting to be around her (we were at her house from Saturday to Monday and didn't leave until after 2:30 am every night), Mike and the rest of the Family let us know that we were appreciated. Once again GOD at work I want to conclude that there was no fussing, no cussing, So GOD was at Work.
