At the Village Deli, we strive to provide the combination of an old-fashioned neighborhood pub where people come to see their friends and a four star hometown diner where you can still get good food at reasonable prices. We serve our customers the very best products available in a friendly, relaxed and comfortable smoke free setting. We hope that you will take the time to walk around and see all the various collections of memorabilia on our walls. We came from the West Coast and settled in Augusta in 1988. We took over the old P.J.'s Deli November 28, 1988. The comfortable Southern Hospitality we have received is still very much alive in Augusta, on the Hill and in the Village Deli. Our business continues to grow thanks to your continued support.

Because of our concern for the freshness of the foods we serve, all items listed may not be available daily. The Village Deli is not a "fast-food" chain restaurant. It is an owner-operated business where our staff works as a team to serve you good food fast. Numerous employees will likely visit you during your meal, any of which can assist you. Your food is custom made while you wait, from the highest quality ingredients available. Good food takes time to prepare properly, and any apparent delay is only a reflection of our attempt to serve you better. We appreciate your kind patience.

We invite you to enjoy our wide variety of delicious burgers, subs, sandwiches, soups, salads and appetizers for lunch or dinner, or any time in between. For something different, we offer lunch and dinner specials that change daily, including delicious prime rib and a seafood special on Friday nights, and a variety of homecooked specialties throughout the week. We also encourage you to try our fine desserts, sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Eat in or carry it out for your convenience. If you would like to be added to our "fax" list we can fax you our specials each morning.

Our full service bar offers a wide variety of specialty drinks including martinis, daiquiris, margaritas and hot Irish coffee. We also serve delicious wines by the bottle or glass and a large selection of cold beers.
