Formed in 1969/70 by high school mates John Denmar and Gothic Harris, Village was the great lost rock band of LA for the past 35 years. Starting out as acoustic psych troubadors with early records like Let's Trade and Accoustic Island, and exploring every nook of the pop universe from New Wave (The Band with the X-Ray Eyes), Folk Rock (The Road Goes Ever On), and Acid Pop (The Acid Test), Village mapped out an alternate Rock universe from the perimeter of the World's greatest entertainment factory.
