In this day and age, it’s extremely rare to find a band that literally presents themselves from the first day of exposure with a “hit the ground running” attitude; rare, but certainly not unheard of. Residing in Pensacola, Florida, Villains In Vogue is quickly making it known that they’re wasting no time to express their statements through music to everyone. With the band forming through a combination of members from rival Northwest Florida touring acts: Serra Velle and Sky Tells All, touring isn’t an option for this group, but rather an understood agreement from day one. “This band has been a really fun project, so far,” expresses guitarist Donald Watson, “it’s really refreshing and different from the bands that I’ve played with in the past. The style is unique, and I think that’s due to our collaboration of different genres that we’ve played previously. Both Chris and Cory come from heavier acts, while Alec and myself come from pop-punk backgrounds.”
However, a unique style isn’t the only thing that these boys have going for them. On September, 2009, Villains In Vogue teamed up with Michigan-based label Statik Factory Records to form a partnership unlike any other. Having signed the contract even before the band rehearsed for the first time, it seems the sky might be the limit for this passionate and talented group of individuals. Statik Factory’s owner and A&R, Alex Pavlov, comments, “I’ve known Chris and Cory for a while from their previous band, Serra Velle. When they contacted me, and played me the new stuff they were writing, I knew that I wanted to work with them. I’m really excited to bring a band like this into the Statik Factory Records’ family.”
Powered by clean, emotional vocals (including sing-a-long’s you’ll have stuck in your head for days), and driven by indie-esc, “hippy rock” guitar styles, Villains In Vogue sets out to maintain originality as key focus. Be on the look out for Villains In Vogue’s digital EP entitled “Adolescence” under Statik Factory Records, scheduled to be released late 2009.
“I’m super excited about everything that’s been happening with this band. It’s truly an experience I’ll never forget, and I hope everyone enjoys the music as much as we’ve been enjoying writing it. We look forward to seeing old and new fans within the next few months when we start touring in support of our release. Big things are going to happen, stay tuned!” –Cory Williams, vocalist.

nice nice sounds interesting.. trying to enjoy fresno weather. little chilly about to head to my best friends house for some pot luck ill save ya guys a plate..
The turkey shot out of the oven and rocketed into the air, it knocked every plate off the table and partly demolished a chair.
It ricocheted into a corner and burst with a deafening boom, then splattered all over the kitchen, completely obscuring the room.
It stuck to the walls and the windows, it totally coated the floor, there was turkey attached to the ceiling, where there'd never been turkey before.
It blanketed every appliance, it smeared every saucer and bowl, there wasn't a way I could stop it, that turkey was out of control.
I scraped and I scrubbed with displeasure, and thought with chagrin as I mopped, that I'd never again stuff a turkey with popcorn that hadn't been popped.
