Vincent Millioud, né en Suisse le 14 Octobre 1983, découvre le violon à l'âge de 6 ans. A 12 ans il est admis au Conservatoire de Neuchâtel (CH) où il suit les cours des professeurs Anne Lorkens-Bauer et Denitza Kasakova. En 2000 il se consacre à l'étude du Jazz et des Musiques improvisées. Il étudie avec Luca Campioni à Milan et avec le violoniste de Jazz parisien Pierre Blanchard à l'EJMA de Lausanne. En 2006 il est admis à la Haute Ecole des Arts de Berne "Swiss Jazz School" où il obtient en 2011 un « Master of Performance in Improvised Music». Il suit une formation d'improvisation avec le guitariste Francis Coletta, avec le saxophoniste Andy Scherrer et avec le violoniste Benjamin Schmidt ainsi que de musique classique dans la classe de Monika Urbaniak-Lisik. Vincent Millioud est un musicien polyvalent. Il joue dans divers ensembles classiques, dans des Orchestres symphoniques et de musique de chambre, des groupes de Jazz ainsi que de musique folklorique. En 2010 il crée son propre quartet de jazz "ORIAK" composé du guitariste Markus Ischer, du contrebassiste Stefan Mattig et de la percussioniste Sonja Boesnach. Musicien international, on peut compter plusieurs apparitions en Allemagne, Italie, France, Autriche, Etats-Unis, Russie, Ecosse, Finlande, Suède, Turquie, Liban, Egypte, Israël, Palestine, etc.. En février 2010, il joue un mois à Beirouth, Liban, à la fondation Zico House. En avril de la même année il est invité à se produire en Egypte en tant que violoniste jazz à la Maison de l'Opéra du Caire et à la Librairie d'Alexandrie par le trompettiste égyptien Mohamed Sawwah dans le cadre de la fondation Pro Helvetia. En février 2012, il se produit aux côtés du pianiste israélien Gilad Chatsav et du trio de celui-ci au Dancing Camel de Tel Aviv puis, au mois de juin de la même année, il se produit à Moscou, pour un concert de bénéfice organisé par la fondation Rainbow of Hearts, en faveur des enfants atteints du cancer, à l'institut scientifique de recherche en hématologie-oncologie pédiatrique N.N. Blokhin. -------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Millioud was born in Switzerland on the 14th October 1983. He begins to play violin at the age of six. In 1994, he's admitted at the Conservatory of Neuchâtel (CH) where he takes lessons with Anne Lorkens-Bauer and Denitza Kasakova. In 2000, getting interested in jazz music and improvisation, he studies with Luca Campioni in Milano and in the Ejma in Lausanne with Pierre Blanchard. In 2006, he's admitted at the Swiss Jazz School, Highschool for Arts of Bern. He takes improvisation lessons with the guitar player Francis Coletta, with the saxophone player Andy Scherrer and with the violon player Benjamin Schmidt and classical music lessons in the class from Monika Urbaniak-Lisik. In 2011 he graduates at the same school in "Master of Performance in Improvised Music". Vincent Millioud is a polyvalent musician. He takes part in several symphonic and chamber orchestras. In 2010 he creates is own music project, the jazz quartet «ORIAK» with, at the guitar, Markus Ischer, at the contrabass, Stefan Mattig and Sonja Boesnach at the percussions. International Musician, he plays in Germany, Italy, France, Austria, United States of America, Russia, Scotland, Finland, Sweden, Turky, Libanon, Palestine, Israel, Egypt, ... In February 2010, he plays during one month in Lebanon at the Zico House Foundation in Beyrout. In april of the same year he's invited from the egyptian trompet player Mohamed Sawwah and the Pro Helvetia foundation to perform as a Jazz violonist at the Cairo Opera House and at the Alexandria's Library. In february 2012 he plays as guest together with the trio of the israelian piano player Gilad Chatsav at the Dancing Camel's Jazzclub in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. In june of the same year he plays a benefice concert organized from the Rainbow of Hearts foundation, in Moscow, at the N.N. Am 14. Oktober 1983 ist Vincent Millioud in St-Loup (CH/VD) geboren. Im Alter von 6 Jahren beginnt er die klassische Studie der Geige und nimmt Kurse an der Musikschule “Ecole de musique du nord vaudois” in Yverdon-les-Bains. Mit 12 Jahren wird er am Konservatorium von Neuenburg angenommen, wo er an Kursen von den Professoren Anne Lorkens-Bauer und später bei Denitza Kasakova teilnimmt. Im Jahre 2000 ändert er die Richtung und beginnt mit dem Studium des Jazz und der Improvisierten Musik. Er besucht Kurse bei Luca Campioni in Mailand und beim Pariser Jazzgeiger Pierre Blanchard an der EJMA “Ecole de Jazz et de musique actuelle de Lausanne”. Im Jahre 2006 wird an der Hochschule der Künste Bern „Swiss Jazz School“ angenommen. Er nimmt Lektionen beim Gitarist Francis Coletta, beim Saxophonist Andy Scherrer und zurzeit beim Violinist Benjamin Schmid. Im Jahre 2008 fliegt er nach New York, um ein Praktikum beim Deutsch-Amerikanischen Geiger Gregor Huebner zu absolvieren. Im Jahre 2009 erhält er ein Bachelordiplom in “Performance & Composition”. Vincent Millioud setzt sein Studium an der Hochschule der Künste von Bern in Sektion Master in “Jazz Performance” fort. Parallel zu seinen Studien ist Vincent Millioud ein polyvalenter Musiker. Er spielt in mehreren Symphonie-Orchestern und Kammermusik Ensembles. Im Jahre 2007 spielt er im Mike Westbrook’s Jazz Orchestra für eine Schweizer Tournee „On Duke' s Birthday“. Im Jahre 2008 wurde ins MOODS von Zürich eingeladen, um an der Seite des New Yorker Schlagzeugers Jason Kahn, des Bassisten Christian Weber und des Cellist Bo Wiget „Sin Asunto“ (Carte blanche à Jason Kahn) zu spielen. Er spielt in den Jazz ensembles „WATAJA“, „MADESERYO“, in östlichen Jazz Musikformationen „QODAMAZ“ „DUO OUD“ „MOHAMED SAWWAH TRIO“ „LIQAA“ und Musiktheater „PRECIOSA Y EL AIRE“. Im Jahre 2010 beginnt er sein Projekt „ORIAK“ zusammen mit dem Gitaristen Markus Ischer, mit dem Kontrabassist Stefan Mattig und der Perkussionistin Sonia Boesnach Im Februar 2010 spielt er einen Monat in Beirut an der „Zico House Stiftung" mit der Schweiz-Libanesichen Sängerin Dida Guigan. Dank PRO HELVETIA wird er im April dieses Jahres als Jazzgeiger nach Aegypten eingeladen, um im Cairo Opera House und in der Alexandria Library an der Seite des ägyptischen Trompetenspieler Mohamed Sawwah, des Pianisten Hannes Buergi und des Schlagzeugers Manuel Pasquinelli zu spielen.
