My name is Vincent Valentine...i was once a member of the Shin-Ra company's Turks. I was then shot by a scientist named Hojo who then used me for his experiments which resulted in me being able to transform into monsterous entities. Lucrecia then exposed my body to the G Substance ,a contaminated form of materia, and i became Chaos, an entity intended to pave the way for the Omega Weapon by killing all living things. Lucrecia then used an ancient materia to calm me down and put me into a deep slumber. I was later found by Cloud and everyone else locked inside the basement of the Shin-Ra mansion in a coffin asleep as a punishment to myself for my sin. I then joined AVALANCH in their quest to destroy sephiroth. After that i went of on my own traveling the world. Now i have returned and i am married to Tifa (whom i love with all my heart). I live with her and everyone else and all together we've been through alot together.
