Singer/Songwriter/Recording artist Vince Sebastian, no longer a native
of Southern California, was born and raised in Chicago, and whose musical influences range from blues to Beatles, to So Cal
music of Jackson Browne to the Eagles (none from California) ,from Neil Young to Eric Clapton to name a few.
His intrinsic sense of melody coupled with cutting edge lyrics tell a story about our lives and times best described as Melodic Rock.
Vince is an unsigned talent who has been showcased on LA radio
station KLOS 95.5FM, Local Licks Program many times, as recent as Memorial Day 2004, when the station showcased five of
his new songs. Host of the show Dion's end comments included,
"Great guitarist...Vince is doing all the keyboards, all the guitars,
the keyboards, sequencing, and singing...the guy is real good. I just called our producer Bill Hartew, who puts together Local Licks, who listens to literally thousands of submitted cd's and he picks the best of the best-and this week I think he's really outdone himself..."
Matt Sorum said "Vince writes very melodic rock with warm vocals ."
Justin Goldberg of Sony Music Publishing International said that Vince's music "Stuck in my mind all day."
Vince also recently appeared on the website for The OC (Fox TV)
where the judges chose and posted five more of his tunes on the Enter The Mix Competition, an open audition with over 3500 entries.
Vince is a multi-instrumentalist who plays most of the tracks himself, but has been backed by some heavy hitters in the music business, such as Matt Sorum, current drummer for Velvet Revolver, former drummer for The Cult, and Guns "N Roses,
Paul Carmen on alto saxophone (played on several albums, and toured with Frank Zappa), Terry Glenny on electric violin (numerous studio credits, film scores, and tv shows), and Ian Cameron on acoustic violin (located in Vancouver British Columbia (numerous studi credits) working with Vince via the
internet.
Vince is currently writing and recording new material.
