"Stampede"-Acoustic Version
I hope I have developed my own fingerstyle sound with influnces from the past. I like to think my style is a combination of all my favorite guitarists I enjoy listening to. You decide and let me know! I'm very excited to be entered into the 2009 Winfield Fingerstyle Contest. It will be loads of fun to be on stage with such great players from all over the world. Will see you there!
There are some reviews and I have been listed as a featured artist on the Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar Site-Great Site for fingerstyle players. Check it out!

Years With No Tears
Vince Serrioz: "Daisy Lynn" Fingerstyle Guitar Original Solo
Sometime ago Vince came up with idea to make a CD with songs he had been writing for ten years. Playing the guitar for over thirty years he listened to greats such as Leo Kottke, Chet Atkins, and John Fahey. This CD is all instrumental guitar songs that have touched him at some point in his life. They were written from his feelings...and from the heart. The title cut, "Years With No Tears", is the only vocal and was written with his good friend Manual Gonzales. It represents how fast time goes by, how we miss the years with no fears or tears, and how we must make those moments last!
Vince Serrioz: "I think I have finally developed my own style over the years and I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I have in writing them. Thanks for listening! "
"I like your steady groove and the ragtime influences. 'Kiva Dance' is a little compressed sounding, but overall it's all nicely presented. "
Laurence Juber
"Beautiful playing, Vince! Proud to be your friend in music. Many thanks & cheers from Italy."

You are listening to a project that I have been working on for 10 years. All acoustic guitar with some special background instruments . Easy listening music with the title vocal cut "Years With No Tears " ,written this year with the help of a very good guitar friend Manual Gonzales. He also plays harp on "Jock O'Hazeldean". All songs were written from my feelings....and from the heart.
I recorded this CD at Lancelot Studios in Wichita, Ks. Had a great producer and Guitar player -Bruce Huss-work with me and helped keep my sainity during the project! His wife Karen from Rynotek did all the great artwork.
The songs are all mine and I used my TaylorXXV and Martin OMC LJ28 to record.
Having played the guitar for some thirty years and listening to greats such as Leo Kottke, John Fahey and Chet Atkins, I think I have finally developed my own style and hope you enjoy my songs.
This CD represents how fast time goes by, how we miss the years with no fears or tears, and how we must make those moments last!
I hope you enjoy my songs as much as I have enjoyed writting them.
My song "Kiva Dance" has been added to the site-Backroads Touring Gallery.

Dear Vince Serrioz Thank You for comment with video link. Nice compose called Peace Train. Good to hear from You. Greetings to Your family all. Artur Janus
Hi Vince, I just listened to Stampede and its great track that just takes you on a journey! Horse samples worked like a charm in this one and the orchestra keys fit in real nice.
Hehehe, I'm trying to download pics and will put my guitar as smal tags on the page but I manage that as good as a 2 years old kid yet... "save it" yeah, hehehehehe, well I did get one just like that as an early X-mas present!
Hey Vince. thanks for the invite and thanks for the peace train. I love that song and dig your version. Nice playing and beaut sound from that guitar. Cheers Adam
Hey Vince- nice fingerpicking style! Very well done. The guitar sounds beautiful too! I wish you all the best. Come visit us whenever you have time to say hi. Be happy my friend. Ralph
Hey Vince!! How well did you do at the Fingerpicking Championships?? I did not know when to come back so I guess I missed it. But...... give me some feedback, I gotta know cause I was pulling for ya !! Here is a picture of me and my sons playing on Stage 4.75 in the Pecan Grove on Saturday night.
Yes, I heard you at the contest! You had one of the best sounding guitars I heard there. I even made a note to ask you about it. So, who made your instrument?
Hi Vince Thanks for the invite to Walnut -- can't make it, but I'll be there in spirit and wishing you the best (have to work and get my son thru college). Maybe I can hit the Fest next year - I've been trying to get there for a decade ever since I first heard about it. In the meantime, I'll just keep writing and honing. I frequent your page and love the heartbeat in your music.
