Vineyard United Methodist seeks to play an active role in the rebuilding of the war-torn country of Liberia in West Africa. Partnering with Bishop John Innis, Vineyard UMC and its members are working to help with:
Construction of two churches (E.H. Smythe UMC in Monrovia and St. Luke's UMC in Grand Bassa).
Publicizing the Nothing But Nets campaign, working with Monrovia District Superintendent Jerry Kulah and Memphis Conference UM Churches like Collierville UMC.
Sending United Methodist Commission on Relief Health Kits to serve the areas around the Ganta UM Mission station.
Partnering with Dr. Solomon Christian, DDS, to launch the Dental Care for the World program. Through DCW, native Liberians will be trained to become the Dental healthcare professionals to meet the oral health needs of Liberians who now have only three dentists to serve 3.6 million people.
May God bless our work to restore hope to a people and rebuild a nation in and through the people of God.

About me: Have you ever wanted to find a different kind of church, maybe something very different, maybe go back to the ancient way the church worked in the first century? Have you ever felt a passion to "just do more" for Christ, as a missionary across the world or perhaps across the street? Welcome to Vineyard United Methodist Church, a place where we want to be a 21st Century Church with a 1st century vision.
Our Vision: To be a Christian community where non-religious and nominally-religious (those who are religious in name only) people become Deeply Committed Followers of Christ.
