I appreciate you and your team's hard work on my project more than you'll ever know.  If it wasn't for your abilities and will to make a great product this would all still be a dream...  And because of you that dream is slowly turning into a reality.

Thanks for playing this role in my career!

You were the first in the industry to believe and I know you'll be one of the last standing.

    Hey Vince,

It was an honor working with Slang Music group! I appreciate all that you did for me in taking time out to make sure that my E.P was the best it could possibly be. Even in setting up my photo shoot and handling my myspace page, I find that I can trust everything you do and it was done quickly and efficiently. Thank you for giving me a chance to shine.
You really helped me grow as an artist!

Vince, I keep listening to the end of the bridge for Light in the Darkest Room. It makes me get goose bumps. The mix is really going in an incredible direction, but I'm just not surprised after listening to my other 10 tracks. I couldn't be happier! We're so far... Let's keep making moves... as well as great music -- cuz that's what you do!

    Dear Vince,

It was an amazing experience working with you and your team. You went above and beyond your required work, teaching me songwriting and guiding me through the recording process. The right amount of balance, which you created between my creativity and vision and the necessary production for the project, is what made the songs a success.

Working in such a talented and egoless environment is what makes me want to work with you again.

    Sincerely,

    Romi Lovel

When I look back at things and wondered what would have happened if I had been able 2 keep my mouth shut, and hear you. I mean from childhood you would tell all of the young one's coming up. Take it form Mike Benson, you Vincent you know what your doing and you always have. hind site is 20/20. I can't say God has blessed you. Not with out work, you were the hardest worker, no job to big,no task to small. you just got in and played your part. But Vince everyone want's to think that they're smart, we all want to think we have the answer. S#!T man I don't even want anything. I am away from home for the first time in my life standing on my own two feet. I never did this S#!T before. You did it when you were a kid .You keep trying to help others to make it and moving foreword came with that. there's something about the way you moved in life that put you in front of the rest. Stay there and tell the haters to kiss your ass.
PEACE Thank You For Being In My Life I Can Say I Know A Man A Self Made MAN!! MAY YOU ALWAYS BE BLESSED !

    Hey Vince

Your legend bro, i'd feel honored to have a contribution from you. I have a real passion for the legacy of house but particlualy Acid House as it changed my life in so many ways. I was a young mixed-race kid from the concrete jungle that is London. I witnessed first hand the dramatic effect this sound had on a nation. I arranged some of the biggest illegal acid house parties of the period (1988-90)and wrote a best selling book called Class of 88 - The True Acid House Experience. Many of your counterparts are contributing including Adonis & Derrick May. I'm currently shifting my way through 1,000s of possible entries so really tied down. Your such an important componant to the growth of this genre that i'd really like to do a special piece in the book just for you. So let me put my thinking cap on and get back to you real soon. Vince, again i cant thank you enough for taking time out to contribute.
    Nuff Respect!

    house music changed my life
  • May 21 2008 3:33 AM

    Vince,

I'm realy pleased to have talked with such a living legend like you. You and your Chicago mates, have changed millions of peoples lifes! I'm a dj, music producer, thanks to house, i work with a passion, what makes my work better an better each day. That's priceless...

Here, in Brasil, the house scene is infested by fuckin'eletro sounds, the mainstream have forgot REAL house music. The good djs, that ones who plays good music, deep, soulful, disco, are together in the undergound. My project came to unite them, make the underground house scene in São Paulo became one. The same crowd, the same clubs, the same hearth, the same passion... House! Each one with his personal style, but everyboy together for HOUSE MUSIC.

We're tryin'realy hard to resist against the ELETRO-MINIMAL-POP invasion... People, doesn't feel nothing, they play only for money... The partypeople eather! They doesn't know who's playing. In mainstream, music isn't important.

We try to change that. Spread and teach GOOD music. That's our mission, that's our path.

    Like Carl Cox said:

If you can't feel it, it can't be house!

Once more, thank you very, very much.

    Cheers.
