erm... like a strangled cat at times...
some camparisons have been made to Cat Stevens; a cross between Simon/Garfunkel and Leonard Cohen; Pete Gabriel; a young Elton John....
More recently ... I was described as "Alan Bennett on crack to a score by Chas and Dave" ! ... like it!!.....but i'll leave it up to you to decide who (or what) I may sound like...
I started playing the ol'd pianna and writing songs just a couple of years ago. I think I'm doing OK, considering. Its an ongoing project to record the songs I write which are about real things, happenings and people i know or have met...snapshots of my life from birth to now really.
This year I started doing some live gigs in proper music venues with Adam Brown who provides great backing vocals, cornet and moral support.
Thanks to Judie Tzuke who is an inspiration, who's music chronicles my life and who let me cover her song "Bring the Rain".
I hope you enjoy my humble offerings. I'm very proud of all of them, no matter what.
Hi Vin. Do you know a Gillian Comer from London? She is a very wonderful person, and has good taste in music! You could email he a pint! Happy holidays to you!!
Hi Vin. My friend Gillian has very good taste in music, so I know you are tops! Thank you for adding me. Hope to have the opportunity to visit the UK to take in one of your concerts in the near future!
been watching as much of the "Welcome to the Tzuke" gig as I could on-line. Great show - some fabulous singers and terrific interpretations made for a top class evening.
Hi guys ...just to let you know.....We're working on an album...theres a couple of monitor mixes up at the moment... Let us know what you think of the tunes....
at the risk of sounding like some sort of creepy "number 1 fan" I just have to say I'm loving the video for Spaceboy: I think it really captures the mood of the song.
Vin!!!!!!!Listen to you!-Well I have been- Loving "Let it Bleed" You are fantastic. love your spirit and how you have grown....Me? I am slowly emerging from the wilderness and rather excited of the prospect of doing something musical and creative again : )! In fact starting all over again, but it feels good at the core. Hope you are well-you sound like your flying! Xx
love the new new version of "Falling Man" (many congratulations to Mr Lacey) but now I'm torn: do I prefer the original rock-y version or the majestic new string version?
You still have one of the best music players on the web. And isn't it about time you cobbled together a full CD?
