Vinnie Ambrosone was born and raised in upstate New York but has been living in Austin, Texas for the past eight years. Trained as a glass artist and drummer, he comes from a family of artists and musicians. After performing and recording with several bands in New York, Austin came calling for a change of a music scene. In the last eight years, Vinnie has toured and recorded with the likes of; The Hugh Fadel Band, Acoustic Jungle, Floramay Holiday, Will Knaak Band,Harry Bodine, Skeleton Crew,Kim Deschamps and the Angela Peterson Band. In the fall of 2004, Vinnie was hired as a touring drummer for the legendary Bill Hamm and Lone Wolf Productions. Through this connection with Bill Hamm and the Angela Peterson Band, Vinnie had the oppotunity to open shows for the likes of; Willie Nelson,Brad Paisley, Big & Rich, Dierks Bentley, Tobey Keith, Rekless Kelly,Craig Morgan, Kevin Fowler, Pat Green and many others. Vinnie has also opened for; Ian Moore, Bob Schneider, Monty Montgomery, Bad Finger and many more with various bands throughout the years. He continues to work and record in the Austin music scene.
