His roots in the underground began in 91 in Orlando, Fl. Icons such as DJ Kimball Collins and Andy Hughes had a deep impact on his youth. As the scene began to develop in historical clubs such as Aahz, Brassy's, JJ Whispers, The Edge, Firestone, and Colisium so did Bucci's love for the music! In the spring of 92 his brothers Joe and Jason Arbucci led the way in helping shape the new scene on the horizon. Forming one of Central FL's largest promotion company, "FUSION FUNKSHUNZ", assembling and throwing underground events and partys from Orlando to Daytona Beach. Right about this time he began buying vinyl. Already growing up listening to and experiencing the last leg of the Punk/Industrial Rev, the natural path of progression was to embrace the new beat! He started DJing early at the age of 14 and landing his first live gigs by 15. Since then, Bucci has not only had the opportunity to promote many of Central Florida's most memorable events, but he has also had the privilege of spinning alongside many internationally renowned DJ's. His live sets range from banging Tribal House, Tech, and Twisted Electro House, to Deep, and MNML Techno. "I grew up in the 80's underground and always loved the deeper darker side of the new wave and industrial scene. i guess it's a natural progression and nothings changed as far as my taste go with house music. I love anything that is twisted and deep." Going further than the norm for many house DJ's, Bucci's DJ skills are seen as soon as he touches the needles. “In the early days it was all about the dj taking us on a ride! A ride the whole night through thick textures, highs and lows. Not to many artist these days understand what it means to be taken on a journey through sound!” Vinny’s philosophy and more importantly his sets always stand out as they take the crowd to a higher level.
His career took a step to a higher level when he, along with his beautiful wife (SoBe's very own Amber A., voted sexiest model of the year by Channels Magazine, and 54 by MAXIM’S Top 100!) Moved to South Beach Miami. There in 2000 Vinny launched the new record label, South Beach Underground. The first release "The Infinite Beats EP" was highly accepted by his friends and dj’s in Miami. Quickly his sets were recognized and in a matter of time he began to work his way into world renown nightclubs. By 2001 Vinny was making guest apprearances at mecca clubs like CROBAR and LIQUID! As well as many other Miami hotspots. Since then Vinny has played many clubs in Miami and still is asked to play at latenights. From Miami Vinny moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico. What was only supposed to be a small vacation turned into a 2 year milestone for his career. Quickly he was asked to stay and play at well known venues such as Old San Juan’s Argentinian latenight, MOROCHA’S and BAIRES. There he played for smaller crowds but longer sets. Vinny loves to be able to play as long as he can! Some nights playing far on past sunrise for the pumped PR house lovers. “They loved the fact I was from Miami. Miami taught me a lot about spinning for larger crowds, but I liked how in PR there demand for music with drums and percussion was unsastisfiable! Since his return to the mainland, Bucci is still bangin out the sets with a distinct Tribal element very few Dj’s replicate. To date he has over 12 releases under his belt. Some going on national cd’s and others sold in record shops around the world! His sets stand out with many of the worlds top dj’s as he rides tracks and blends them with seeming perfection and ease.
