Vinny's Pizza was started in 1978 by an Italian Immigrant named Abrasinio. He named it after his son Vinny. Abrasinio's first stop in the U.S. was New York city. It was there where he perfected the New York Style pizza. Before opening Vinny's, he opened Pizza Napoli on the other side of Westchester. Eventually he gave Vinny's Pizza to Vinny and Napoli to another son. Due to unknown reasons, a fued developed between Vinny and his brother. They did not speak but both vowed to do better business and make a better pizza than the other. The result is the fantastic pizza we serve today.
