Vinny Vinny are a contemporary British Soul band. Influenced by the Soul bands of old, these four mates from Essex have their own take on this classic sound.
Described as 'Brit Rhythm & Blues' by the NME, Vinny Vinny fit snuggly into a Soul music market place that has the likes of Amy Winehouse, Duffy and Mark Ronson already paving the way to Platinum success.
Vinny Vinny construct a set like a DJ. No gaps, no silence, no moody reflective singer songwriter chat half way through the show. They don't stop 'till everyone in the room is twisting, shaking, roller skating and gyrating their way into tomorrow.
As well as appearing regularly on the London circuit, they've recently played Ibiza Rocks, The Camden Crawl and the Brighton Great Escape. They supported Supergrass in Moscow and Eli 'Paperboy' Reed on the London leg of his UK tour.
