One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez ; Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie... For an instant mood-lifter, Tom Robbins, for poetry, Michael Ondaatje............. have read thousands and thousands of books in my lifetime. I don't consider myself productive for it. It just gives me an excuse to lie in bed in a state of undress for long periods of time. It also makes me feel like I've experienced way more things than I ever have. I suppose, in a sense, I have experienced them, albeit vicariously. Sometimes I feel like I have lived a thousand lives. Maybe I have.

She’ll drop dancefloor heavy-hitters with a preference for a hot break and female vocals, grooving 80s funk, classic and old-school hip hop, sexy downtempo, and velvety soul that could bring a beast to its knees. Ruby Jane is often booked to DJ at bboying, waacking, locking and popping battles. In addition to playing all over Canada, she's brought The Funk to the world, playing in Dublin, NYC, London and Barcelona. Constantly building her collection of funk-inspired music, Ruby Jane aspires to keep helping people get down with their bad selves on the dance floors of Canada and the world at large.
