everybody has a story about how they started playing guitar and getting into music, usually its the cliche of "i always dreamed of being a rockstar". in my case, its totally different. My grandad was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and to that day i never new of his fondness for music. his dream was to be able to play guitar like all his heros such as Johnny Cash. and i remember not long before he died he gave me his old guitar, an unbranded thing; a ripoff of a strat. he told me to make better use of it than he did. and after he died i decided that i'd play that guitar until my fingers bled to try and accomplish what he couldnt.my influences to start with were heavy rock groups to go with the electric guitar image such as Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. as the years went on and as my playing progressed, i started to listen to the music more and create an undying passion for blues music. the scales and sound of it would make my soul fly. and as my passion grew to blues my music horizon broadened and i found myself listening to country, reggae, funk, soul, and rythem and blues. i, like my grandad also found somthing in Johnny Cash that was like no other feeling, and still find it strange today how my music influences went full circle back to the man who inspired me to pick up the guitar in the first place. My main influences are Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, kurt cobain, and Ray Charles. Music is my life and i wouldnt trade it for anything..Peace
I'm awe-struck. 'My Work Here Is Done' is such a great song, you could go with either version. I'm so happy for you---you deserve it! And, one'o these days I'm gonna have a nice long story to tell...

Amazing!! I think an engineer can re-master 'Time's Not On Your Side' by using FT (Fourier Transform Analysis). Betcha did not know I was a spectrophotometrist... I'm in love with this song!!!
Hey Luke, I wanted to thank you for adding me as a friend, I greatly appreciate that. Your voice is VERY unique, it can only improve as your get older, please don't take that the wrong way. I think your great! I love listening to artist that are out of the norm radio waves, I believe this is where you find your true artist. I'll stop rambling now, haha. Have a great day! Take Care, Stacey

'Time's Not On Your Side' is unbelievably good. What lyrics, great music, everything. Ed can't believe you're 16, with lyrics like that! Here's to your success, from me & 'The Boys' in Memphis!
Here's something eerie: the first time I 'ran into' your channel, I thought you sang just like Robert Johnson. You play guitar like he and Mr. Hendrix both reincarnated into one soul.
You're a natural-born songwriter! I love 'Time's Not On Your Side' best so far. (I always say that when you have a new song out, don't I?) LOL 'The Boys' - (Gregg, Jay, Steve, Eric and Stephen send their envy. LOL
