The FOUNDATION wins the first Vinxi Battle of the Bands
Congratulations to the Foundation. These boys rocked harder than your little sister's ass on a fully loaded washing machine. I'm not just saying that because they gave me a free t-shirt either. All the bands last night could've won the contest to tell you the truth, but the Foundation had that little something that made you think, " wow, this is music that makes me want to eat my own turd and than ask for seconds." I don't know what that means, but it sounded good in my head when I wrote this review. Lead singer, Justin, is the perfect frontman for this tight trio followed by the tightest rhythm section I've witnessed in a while. Contrary to what you might believe, but music is alive and well in Long Beach, and all these bands prove it.

Vinxi is hosting a good ole Battle of the Bands this fall. This contest is open to all genres of music, the only catch is that you have to kick ass or make the panties moist. We are going to have 4 monthly shows with the winner of each taking the door and advancing to the finals. The winner of the finals will take home the door and a Martian Church sponsorship.
