About me:
Opened in 1989 by owner Darren O' Connor, you can say the store caters to the "punk" crowd. The walls and racks are lined with records, cd's, tapes, t-shirts, and dvd's, but here, records are the preferred medium. Punk Rock and Hardcore are the bands you will most likely find on the shelves, but don't be surprised if you find that token 60's garage album, or a rare import Jamaican pressing of your favorite artist, or even the man in black, Johnny Cash and some of his more obscure LP'S. Aside from the enormous selection of music (everything from obscure rockabilly groups and 60's-70's Motown Soul, to experimental noise acts and 80's new wave), the most impressive thing is the stores prices on new and used collectibles. While a lot of the music we carry in the store is new, Vinyl Solution’s specialty is older collectibles, rare dvd's, and exclusive vinyl pressings. So if some asshole just outbid you on eBay for that first pressing Negative Approach LP, or you just can't locate a copy of the first Germs LP, chances are you will see them on the wall at Vinyl-at reasonable prices.
