I'm a violinist in Central Valley and Northern California. I love meeting musicians. I picked up the piano as a new hobby. Here's some of samples of my violin playing from 12 years ago (live College orchestra performance, the ones labled Tchaik). Why such old recordings? Because I can't stand listening to myself (unless it's for practice purposes); but if a bunch of years go by, I forget what I can't stand and then I can start to enjoy it more. Anyone else have this problem?
The piano playing of the Debussy Arabesque No. 1 followed by the Chopin (Nocturne 72-1) IS mine, and is pretty recent - I have the excuse that I'm new at piano and heck, I wouldn't mind getting tips on how to improve on this devilish instrument - the piano. It was recorded for fun during what I call a run thru to make sure I still have the pieces somewhat memorized.
About the last piece above, "Violcano." I was listening to Damien Rice's Volcano for the first time several months ago and after listening to it twice, I thought it needed an extra line of violin layered on top of it. I just recorded it thru the "air" by playing his version of Volcano thru my computer speakers and I played my improvisation on the violin at the same time and recorded it on a little walkman recorder I use for momentary inspirations. This happened to be at 3 AM that morning. Glad to have it available. I figured if people have Damien Rice's music on myspace, it would be alright for me to have my version of it on here. I've disabled any downloading of it since I don't own the copyright to that song, although the violin playing is mine.

Beautiful piano recording. I'm impressed. It's difficult to learn the piano when you're not starting as a child. I struggle with it still. Seriously though, you've accomplished a lot.
i have often wanted to add myself to tlak to myself then i remeber that if i did all of the people on one page will find the other adn i do not want them to find the other for certin reasons so there fro i can not add myself adn be as crazy as you are and go insane and talk to myself.

I have to say WOW at the fact that you are REALLY going insane. Just because you add the Li doesnt make you another person entirely. lol. (Or maybe in your case it does?) You DID tell me about that polar/ schizo episode you had a few years back, but like I have always said, music makes you a little crazy.
