linguistics, languages, nihon & nihongo (if you know what I mean...wakatta yo?), letting my bass guitar make my fingers bleed, adding (not losing!) by translating, puzzle solving (enigmistics), playing with words, argumenting skills, riding my bike, driving other ppl's cars at full throttle, playing tennis (it's so stress-relieving!), traveling, biting enemies, writing out my saddest thoughts, j-rock, animation, technology (ICT), nerds & geeks, sushi eating and making (that's my staple food), bubble tea, decaying rock 'n' roll stars, Nendoroids, losers in life, lingerie, furry socks, craft pens, cute Japanese characters, H&M (there I buy most of my clothes!), eBay (there I buy peculiar items and spend most of my savings!)...
Music
Everybody's list is so long, as there was a pride in not being able to select; mine is rather short, since there aren't many groups that make the music I like, such as Strokes, Notwist, Smashing Pumpkins, Imarobot, Kaiser Chiefs, Pillows, Lunasea, Killers, Interpol, Carpark North, Jimmy Eat World, A Perfect Circle, Jaga Jazzist, Yoko Kanno, Bright Eyes, Grandaddy, Postal Service, Mars Volta, JJ72, Pizzicato Five, Van Pelt, and just a very few more.
Movies
Park Chan-wook's old boy and sympathy for lady vengeance (and for mr vengeance too), almost every old B&W movie *** ANIME: Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Death Note, Oruchuban Ebichu, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star.
Television
House MD, Heroes, Lost, Twin Peaks, Spongebob, Malcolm in the Middle
Books
It's so difficult to find interesting books well written: c'est pas un livre qui se fait lire! Most bore me, except for: Amélie Nothomb's Biographie de la faim + Métaphysique des tubes at first place. E.A. Poe rocks too. Daniel Keyes's Flowers for Algernon. De Carlo's Due di Due. La vie devant soi by Romain Gary. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. Orwell's 1984 (especially for the linguistic content). Brecht's Lebens des Galilei. Barbery's L'élégance du hérisson.
Heroes
Suzumiya Haruhi, Neon Genesis Evangelion's Asuka, Death Note's Light, FLCL's Haruko, Heroes' Nakamura Hiro, Lucky?Star's Konata

✰ViolentFemme✰ won't bother to reply to those who write "chiacchiere" without i's. That said, feel free to write me in English, Italiano, Français, 日本語 or Deutsch.
About me:
Vacation, alienation, Japanimation, manga, kanga, naked lunch, Hawaiian Punch, fruit juice. It's not funny: I'm gonna kill you!!
I hold a BA and a MA (laurea triennale e specialistica); currently I'm focusing on Japanese and other projects, as well as earning my living translating. (Se avete bisogno di traduzioni professionali da/a inglese e francese, contattatemi) (Should you need professional translations from English into Italian or vice versa, get in touch with me!) (Si vous avez besoin de traductions professionnelles du français à l'italien ou vice versa, contactez-moi!)
I don't know why most of you think I'm quite a manga-anime Otaku; I'm not. I've read just a few manga and have a bunch of fav anime. That's all; my connection with Japanese culture and pop-culture is broader than that. Please check my brief interests section.
Oh come on, Italian dudes! I'm growing tired of this: the "femme" part from my nickname doesn't translate into "femmina". Please look it up in some French dictionary!
Please don't ask for my MSN contact in order to chat; I barely use it, and next to never to chat tout court.
