Books
It's a shame! I don't read novels often - please suggest some summer reading!
'Angels & Demons' by Dan Brown is fantastic, IMO.
'The Last Templar' by Raymond Khoury is a good read too, if you don't mind corny dialogue, one-dimentional characters doing stupid things, and a completely prescribed romance... I'm not being sarcastic, I actually enjoyed it despite of this. C'mon, who wouldn't like a book that starts off with someone getting beheaded on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art?!
Heroes
My Motivation, My Inspiration, My Voice: Takanori Nishikawa
and
Hyde

~April 11 2006~
a friend since 3rd grade, he died a REAL hero.
Japanese bands I've seen in concert:
L'Arc~en~Ciel, Psycho le Cemu (x2), POLYSICS, D'espairs Ray (x2), Peelander-Z, ELLEGARDEN, The Spunks, The Emeralds, Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re, Stance Punks, The Rodeo Carburettor, PE'Z, HYDE (x2), 12012, and T.M.Revolution!!
Who I'd like to meet: Some of the musicians that have changed my life... Takanori Nishikawa! he is T.M.Revolution and vocalist of abingdon boys school.
This is the most passionate and hard working performer I know.
He truly appreciates his fans from all over the world.
T.M.Revolution's music is SO MUCH FUN!
[EDIT] I met him April 19th, 2008.
L'Arc~en~Ciel! (L-R) Yukihiro (dr), Ken (gu), Hyde (vo), Tetsu (ba)
Amazing.
It's that simple.
Based on your profile, I'm guessing that you've sought me out because you're looking forward to Repo! The Genetic Opera. Well, if so, I'm glad that you're excited about Repo. We're excited to share the finished film with you as well. You may already be aware of this, but Repo needs help from fans like YOU: currently, the studio (Lionsgate) is only releasing Repo in less than 10 theatres on NOVEMBER 7TH. If we perform well on those limited screens, and if Repo's soundtrack sells, then they'll roll Repo out to a wider theatrical release. So, please order a copy of Repo's soundtrack (it's only $9.99 online), and please continue to help us spread the word about REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA: http://www.Repo-Opera.com.
Thank you for adding Repo! The Genetic Opera's offical myspace!
There's more action than ever happening with Repo! From the recent soundtrack release, to new theatre dates, to the Repo Road Tour, and MORE! Our page will be undergoing major changes in the next few days so to keep up to date with all the new info, keep checking back!
Many thanks for your continued love and support! www.repo-opera.com
xD I did =) The 2nd e-mail, I had them from the last TMR meetup, remember? LOL but the 1st e-mail, my gosh, when's the next NYAF? Cause I think you said they may be around Feb, but I dunno if the con is gonna be that soon
If you've got Hyde and Takanori in your corner can I be on your side? :p Hey one of the TMR pages was deleted within the last 24 hours. I wonder if that means someone official is cracking down and we're going to get a real profile for him soon! Of course I know I'm just wishful thinking because the one TMR page that was doing really well disappeared a year ago and hasn't been replaced. ... *sigh*
And speaking of, I just figured out that I will have to miss the band SIGH on their first U.S. tour with another band I love, Zimmer's Hole, because that's two days before X JAPAN in NYC. So either I go to it and fly to NYC on a Friday which is stupid because it's about $100 cheaper to arrive on a Thursday, or I miss the Sigh show and hope to heaven that they come back again. Blah...
However on the plus side, I will submit my registration for A-Kon today! AND I received a message from Tomo Asaha in NYC saying that he will be in Dallas at the con! Cool!
Anywho, have a good weekend :) *hugs and much love!*
