Deathmetal? Powermetal? Gothic? Melodic-Metal? Violet Moon ereint all diese Stilistiken zu einem kompakten Powerpaket. Der Kontrast von derben Riffs und tiefen Growlingparts zu atmosvphärischen Keyboardklängen und Frauengesang macht Violet Moon zu einer explosiven Mischung.Schon im Gründungsjahr 2003 setzten sie ihr Publikum in Flammen und erfreuen sich seither einer ständig wachsenden Fangemeinde. 2005 wurde das Debut-Album "Morbid Visions" in den M+M Studios in Forchheim aufgenommen. Im März 2007 wurde ein Remix von dem Song "Morbid Visions" erstellt.
Im August 2009 entern Violet Moon die Aexxis-Art Studios in Schwandorf um mit Stefan Fimmers (Necrophagist) als Producenten die neue CD “Path of vengeance” einzuspielen. Besser denn je werden die einzelnen Stilistiken miteinander verbunden und neue wie alte Violet Moon Fans dürfen sich gespannt zeigen. Ab anfang 2010 wird der CD release geplant und danach wird man Violet Moon wieder verstärkt live erleben dürfen...

The contrast of hard guitar-riffs and deep growlings to atmospheric keyboards and female lead vocals makes the sound of Violet Moon an explosive mixture Since their foundation in 2003, Violet Moon has set their audience on fire and has constantly been winning more fans. The debut-CD "Morbid Visions" was recorded at the M+M Studios in Forchheim / Germany in 2005.
In March 2007 a remix of the song “Morbid Visions” was produced. The release of their new CD is planned for 2009. On the new album, the usage of bagpipes and female growling parts is not the only thing people can be looking forward to.
