    Performing with the best burlesque/cabaret troupe in Hawaii Nei, the Cherry Blossom Cabaret and shakin' my azz around town gogo style. Using the term "u faka", The Blues, Vintage Swing and Cabaret music, reading, DOING THE ROBOT, kitten posters with clever witticisms, mustaches (but only on those who can pull them off) the 1930's-1950's in general, any and all dancing, especially ballet, ALL fashion esp. couture and vintage stuff, travel, hiking, politics, intelligent discussions on almost any topic with people who know what the fuck they are talking about, posing for weird pictures dressed as a banana, millinery, Elvis Impersonation, baking cookies, believing in magic, trying to master the art of armpit farting.

The most in-demand Burlesque/Cabaret performer in the State of Hawai‘i, Violetta Beretta is known as “The Hottest Little Ticket in Hawaii Nei!” Whether performing internationally, stateside, or throughout her fair isle, The Scintillating Miss V brings classic pin-up and burlesque imagery into these modern times with her inventive, hilarious and naughty performances.

Best known for her crazy librarian shtick featured in her signature piece, “It’s Oh So Quiet,” or as “Hawaii’s Cutest Living Lamp” for her celebrated Hula Girl Lamp piece, Violetta Beretta has graced international stages in both Paris and London and has shimmied her way throughout the Nation, hula-ing her way into hearts at Teaseorama 2008, SFO (by invitation) as well as NYC’s Jewel Box at the Slipper Room, and may others!

She is also well known across the Islands regularly performing in such venerable venues as: The W Hotel, Casanova’s (Maui), The Point at the Sheraton Kauai, The Art’s at Mark’s Garage, The Hano Hano Room at The Sheraton Waikiki, Aaron’s, Next Door, 39 Hotel, The Mercury Bar, The Loft, Anna Banana’s and many more.

Violetta has been twinkling her toes since the age of 5. A technically trained ballerina, with over 20+ years of experience in many dance fields including, Tap, Flamenco, Street, Modern, Hula, Jazz, Ballroom, Swing, Butoh, and Gymnastics, she holds the title of Head Choreographer within Hawaii’s premiere Burlesque/Cabaret troupe, “Cherry Blossom Cabaret.”

In addition to her burly-q performances Violetta is also in high demand for her insane gogo dancing skills and regularly performs with Hawaii’s premiere promotional team, Flash and Matty Boy Present (http://flashand mattyboypresent.com) promoters of the islands most upscale club events: Skyline, Candybar, Release and Rumfire.

A seasoned model, and pin-up model, the Darling Miss V has appeared in print, advertisements and photographer’s portfolios both locally (SMART Magazine, Honolulu Weekly, Honolulu Advertiser) and nationally (Coffin Case Model) as well as walking the runways for various local designers, most recently in runway shows for Custo Barcelona, Kissa Cosmos and Ron Koyama Designs in Chinatown’s Urban Pacific Fashion Show.

Miss Violetta can occasionally be found singing the Blues in Honolulu’s best dive bars. Though no longer performing with her now defunct band, “Aja and the Red Rockets,” she still regularly sings with the Hawaii Blues Connection at Ward’s Rafters and Anna Banana’s. She is currently working with Kit Eversbaugh (Don Tiki) and Richard Smith (Slim Jr.) on her first album, due for release this December 2009.
