About Violet Vector and the Lovely Lovelies
Hipsters of Italy and of the world unite and expect a big surprise. A multicolor and outfitted surprise confezionatavi from a beautiful name Amanda Brooks sudista fanciulla flashy silk. She, along with their friends, is come to the second ep of accredited study to the pseudonym Violet Vector and the Lovely Lovelies (there is a name more freak nowadays?), one of the best this year that will do fall in love to the moment diskettes all fans of the first Pink Floyd and pop vintage from Sung female. The VVLL are in six (four women and two boys) are produced by the Color Wheel records (already distintasi on these pages last year for stamped the second lp of the Ideal Free Distribution) and behind a reassuring appearance by congrega hippy housed in the American South, hiding a play with surprising skill sounds very often affascinate from the 1967 melodic-psych culture innate capacity. And to be safe to achieve the target fruited, Chapel Hill team decided not risking long distance but strong play on a quintet of songs the appalling ' listening ease and simple both songwriting as excellent. Grass Is Glowing and Technicolor Electric (the opening and closing of the disc) represent the most "acid" group, thanks to guitars that flirts with the fuzz to a use of the Whitehall organ and an incedere in the time - sepiente regardless of the duration still contained stories - that evokes logical sour dear to ancient suite thumbnail and spices that component inspired the earliest Barrett. Texts, faithful to the tradition and so full of esoteric and heaving references of surprise at the magic nature nevertheless continues to produce, moving at home during the Central episodes of the disk, those more pop. The poppy trilogy (and peppy, very peppy) of the ep opens with What ' s Going On In Your World, bringing together the best of the contagious entusiamo the girls-band knew so well pass in the sixties song. Then there is considerable Applesweet, much more modern, mold to remember how we can have fun listening to a piece of classic vintage twee. Sunshine in Space, finally, is affixed to the glorious a powerpop barricades somewhat scassato and minimal that brings to mind exceptional bands to the female of the 1990s as go Sailor, Heavenly and Cub. You know what I say? In the end of the year concerning the ep, the VVLL will be a figurone. And if you love of pop with pink staple and sgargianti hue vintage, Amanda Brooks and psichedelica company does not expect another that ricambiarvi.

Women who are musical are to be adored and worshiped !  Like Osiris in the ancient times of Sun God Ra, a Siren quickens to the heart of Everyman.   Come, be my willow-wisp!   Melt me in the forest with your magic !
