After Pittsburgh's popular northern soul night SOULCIALISM had run its course, and after the untimely demise of its successor, CASHIN' IN, seemed just about time to realize the true potential of 1960s RARE and CLASSIC R&B, MOTOWN, and NORTHERN SOUL to bust peoples' backs like a camel with a short straw and a tiny mirror.

VIPERS SOUL CLUB was born to remake the Old Sounds of Young America into a lethal Atomic Cocktail of stomping UK-style Northern and WILD PARTY-type U.S. Jazz and R&B.

Ain't nothin but a house party, and ain't nothin like it. Join up, declare yourself a VIPER in time for the 2008 Soul Campaign, and SHAKE YOUR HEAD!
