Magic has been in my life for as long as I can possibly remember. Growing up, all children have dreams. My dream has always been to become the best magician that I could possibly be! Starting at the young age of 6 I walked about 7 or 8 blocks to the library almost every day, (if not every other day)… in search of books on the subject of ”Magic”. Props in hand, fallowing all of the instructions step by step, my wonderful mother would read those books to me, as I looked through the illustrations. Any time I new that Worlds Greatest Magic was showing on TV. I always recorded it, making sure that I could watch it over and over again, anytime I felt like it. Generally that meant over and over, 24/7… When ever I wasn’t studying from the books! At the age of 12 I met another magician by the name of “Christopher Bays” who did table to table magic at a place called Ruby Tuesdays. He approached my table and asked me if I would like to see some Magic… Considering my passion for magic, my eyes immediately lit up with joy and excitement. I couldn’t believe that a magician would even ask me such a ridiculous questions… INDUBITABLY!!! Little did I know that my mother had already told him of me, and that was the reason I was there… He immediately saw the passion for magic in my eyes, and invited me to go with him to one of his monthly S.A.M meetings! The S.A.M (Society of American Magicians). After attending my first meeting I stood up in front of all of the other magicians there, and was asked to perform an illusion. So I performed the one of the very first illusions that I learned back when I was 6… little did I know that to them, the illusion that I performed was such a classic of magic, and it had impressed them that someone so young not only knew it, but performed it as well as they say I did. I’m still not quite sure what I did, but I must have done something right, because all of those other magicians instantly took a liking to me! Sometime around the age of 14 or 15, I traveled with a few of the other members to a S.C.A.M (South Carolina Association of Magicians) convention held in Marital Beach, SC. There I competed in a close-up competition and ended up taking home first place. Around the age of 16 I received a scholarship to travel to Long Island, NY and take many different classes, and learn many different types of magic! Now I am 22 years of age, and my passion for magic has never been stronger! I will admit there have been some things between the ages of 17-21 that has distracted me from my true goals and dreams in life… I have been so many places, and have done and seen so much… but to tell you the truth, now that I have Magic back in my life, None of those things are even worth mentioning! With fewer distractions in my life, I am finally able to pursue my dreams once again! So now I invite you to join me along my journey... Here you leave Today, and enter a world of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy... Where the Illusion of a Dream in the Midst of Reality become my Life, and you are now apart of that!
