VIP Singles' Ministry Mission:
We exist to bring Single men and women together to understand their individual destiny in Christ through prayer, fellowship, God's Word, ministry and living a life of praise and worship.
VIP Singles Ministry Vision:
It's our vision for every single person to come to know Chrsit in a real way, to trust Him and live a holy and acceptable life. It's our vision to have single people enjoy their gift of singleness until this phase of their life comes to an end. Some will continue on in this gift until Chrsit returns. It's our vision to have singles not be the background but to take their rightful place in leadership and ministry. It's our vision for singles to please God in all areas of their life. It's our vision for Sinlges in the Christian World to understand the blessing in waiting and staying pure. It's our vision that only God can givethe understanding that Singleness is not a curse or a punishment but it's a time to celebrate.
VIP Singles' Ministry:
It started a few years ago when a sister in VIP stepped up and answered the call of God to start a ministry for the Singles of Victory In Praise Church. Alberta, although not a minister felt that the singles needed a place to be free to be single. A Place to meet and greet. A place to have equality. She did not want to create a meat market atmosphere. Making it a place where the focus would be, "how to get the hookup" but it would be a place where ministry of the hurts, habits and hangups would take place. A place where men and women could educate one another. A place where people could be themselves and have fun. A place where you could bring your family and friends and know that there will be no judging but love would abound.
After two years, Alberta was called to move on to the next phase in her life. She was engaged to be married and a call went out for a replacement from within the group. Someone who would understand her vision and continue to group in that direction. A minister at VIP, Elder Linda, prayed and asked God to bring someone to the forefront and God Said, "why not you." Linda feeling overwhelmed did not answer God nor did she want the position. After several months, She conceded to God and His plan and took on the Sinlges' Ministry.
Under Linda's leadership, the ministry swells with grown and then deflates with nongrowth. People come and go but she is faithful to the original message of the heart that was expressed over four years ago now. This ministry has began a small group on a weekly basis that meets in her home and studies the word of God and how to apply it to everyday life. They have monthly social outings and meet when their schedules permit. They have monthly ministry opportunities where they take the gospel beyond the four walls of VIP. The one thing that Linda is blessed to have an opportunity to implement is the annual Singles retreat that has become an annual cruise. This will allow her to spread the ministry at VIP for Singles' nationwide. She has developed a leadership team that works with her to bring the vision of God to reality.
VIP Singles Ministry is growing not just in numbers but in sprirt. Linda and the leadership team are happy to be apart of what the Lord is doing in the lives of those in this ministry. Most importantly they are happy that God is still working on them to be all that He wants them to be.
Join the ministry today. It does not matter, if you are a part of VIP church or not. For that matter, a part of any church. If you are single and want to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, financially and mentally this is the ministry for you. With seminars on "How to take care of your finances", "How to relate to others", "How to be intimate with God" and so forth...you will be ready for the next phase of your life and God will begin to shape you into the man or woman you are to BE-COME! So what are you waiting for?
Who I'd like to meet: VIP Sinlges' Ministry is here to uplift those that are in need of self awareness. How can single people give to others...love and respect when they don't have love and respect for themselves. You have to have something to pour into the one that God has chosen for you.
We are here to meet people that have not realized their destiny. Your Destiny cannot stop because YOU are single. God has chosen your destiny just for you and once you are walking in that destiny you will find that God's special choice will be presented to you.
Women remember Eve was made especially for Adam to be his helpmete, to be his companion, to walk by his side and she was presented to Adam by God.
Men remember Adam had his stuff together, he was about his Father's business fulfilling all that God created him to do when God saw that he need a companion and caused him to sleep while He (God)prepared that mate especially for him. The bible also says that He that findeth a wife, finds a good thing. That means that women we need to be a wife already not become a wife after the man finds us. Ask yourself, both Male and Female..."Would I marry me now?" if your answer is Yes then state "why" if your answer is no then state "why". This simple exercise may help you understand why the perfect one has not found you yet or why your relationships don't turn out like you had planned.
