Hello! :-)

We thought you might like to see this.

It's the video for our new single, "BRIGITTE BARDOT", taken from our current album "LOLA DUTRONIC IN BERLIN".

It's our #1 download at iTunes and our most viewed clip on YouTube.
It's been getting all kinds of airplay all over the world. Even the legendary Rodney Bingenheimer has been playing it on his show on KROQ-FM in L.A., as well as the video appearing on the NME's website.

If you don't already have a copy, you can download the single by clicking here:

If you fancy a copy of the "LOLA DUTRONIC IN BERLIN" album, click here:

Hope you enjoy the clips, and don't forget to download the tracks at iTunes.
It's only a dollar.... ;-)

My Christmas Wish For You
I wish for you a life that’s full of joy, and for you to see the innocence and wonder in every girl and boy. I wish for you peace and happiness, each day throughout the year. I hope your mind is calm and at ease, and I hope you can cast aside your fears. I wish for you to have enough love to fill your heart, and I wish for you know it’s never to late to dream, it’s only to late if you never start.

I hope this Christmas is filled with blessings for you.

Have you been up Shit Creek yet? No? Then you'll want to submit poems to Shit Creek Review's 'History and Memory' themed issue, due online in February '09. Submissions need to be in by 1st December. And if you have been up the Creek before, well, naturally you'll want to do it all over again. See the Submissions page at http://www. shitcreekreview. com/ for explanations, details, email address, submission form, PayPal details for bribes, etc.

A reminder that The Chimaera, too, is open for submissions until 1st December.
The theme is Light Verse, and British Poet John Whitworth (who edited The Faber Book of Blue Verse) is the guest editor for that section -- so lighten up! But you can also submit general prose and verse for our Open Slather section. Go to http://www. the-chimaera. com/ and you should find a Submissions page somewhere there without too much trouble.

Some people have nightmares about showing up to work naked.

Other people live them.

Servicing the Pole is the portrait of a New York stripper in the 1990’s – a battle-worn misfit slogging her way through the city’s roughest clubs, watching as the job replaces her personal life, and secretly harbouring rock star ambitions.

As the fast-paced night life’s deceptive promises of easy money gradually give way to the harsher realities of addiction and prostitution, Emily must decide – is this really the person she wants to be? And if so, at what price?

Servicing the Pole
