V I R G I N I A H I L L
Mission Statement: I want to be found, in the sight of my Heavenly Father, as one who will live an obedient worship filled life striving to be more like Him. It is my commitment to serve and edify the body of Christ through my life and my music. It is my prayer that the Body of Christ will become one and because of our stand for unity the lost will come into relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
John 4:23 (NIV) “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”
John 17:21-23 (NIV) “…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
Virginia Hill Biography
Virginia Hill is a fresh face to the Chicagoland Christian music scene. This small town girl is a break out artist who is perfectly poised for this season in her life. Growing up in a musical family there is much she has seen and learned through the years. Virginia is a self taught guitarist, singer and songwriter…a natural born talent whose musical abilities began early in life and have continued to grow as the experiences of life have lead her to pour out her soul in melodies.
Virginia has just completed her highly anticipated debut release, “LOL” (laugh out loud). This is her first full CD project which will be available on her Website before it hits the stores in late Summer/Fall 2007. www.virginiahill.net
Virginia has a captivating and contagious high energy about her. Her music blends passion and heartfelt worship. She has a gift for creating an intimate atmosphere, making people feel comfortable as she shares her faith and trust in the Lord. She believes the calling on her life is to encourage unity among the body of Christ and reach the lost through the message of hope found in her lyrics and music. Spending time with Virginia is like being with a long time friend. There is lots of laughter, encouragement and honesty.
At home you will often find Virginia with pen in hand, an open Bible, marked up pages of scrap paper sitting with her guitar or at the piano, writing new songs and words of hope inspired by her Heavenly Father.
