Virginia the Queen's Blurbs |
About me:
My name is Virginia. I live in Alabama and I work in Georgia. It's not funny.
I am old as hell, moderately well educated, concerned with the state of the world but sensible enough to know twenty cents per day will not eradicate global poverty. I like everything, unless I don’t. I hate my f’ing job. I’m scared of babies. I take my vitamins. I may have ADD, or I might just tune people out because I want to. I like to drive; give me gas money and I’ll take us to Somalia. With my luck and suspect navigational abilities, we’ll be there day after tomorrow. I think I know what I want in life, but I probably don’t. I am exceptionally passive-aggressive. I have recently discovered the joy of saying “no” to people and it’s wonderful; everyone should do it, just not to me. I use too many words when less would do. Sue me. I have no idea what I’m doing. I’m scared of everything. I’m a classic only child with an older sister. I think I subconsciously leave money in my pockets so I’ll have incentive to do my own laundry. Nothing validates the mundane task of folding jeans like finding four dollars. I believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and anyone else willing to bring me stuff while I’m sleeping. I’m a cheap drunk. I’m not anything I don’t want to be.

Who I'd like to meet:
poets like David Forbes-Korngold, people named Horatio, my real parents, the Pope, toll booth operators, the Pied Piper of Hamlin, fortune tellers, people born with twelve toes, geisha, parfumers, Gisele Bündchen, gazillionaires, opera singers, Jungian psychologists, ANYONE with a bunch of that 24# bond thesis paper they want to unload, Tucker Carlson
