Virginia Younger is a talented singer/songwriter from Sydney, Australia.
Growing up on Sydney's Northern beaches, she began singing, song writing and performing at a very young age. Her unique talents were widely recognized with numerous awards and talent competition honours. Virginia's voice stood out as pure and angelic, often compared to vocal legends Karen Carpenter or Olivia Newton-John. It was clear that even at a young age, Virginia was going to be a very special and gifted vocalist.
Like a long line of famous Australian artists, Virginia's career moved overseas and began to take off in the UK. For 5 years she established herself as a successful studio and live artist. During that time Virginia played over 1,200 concerts across the UK and Europe and worked with some of the UK's foremost producers such as Sir George Martin.
Now after years of travelling and entertaining audiences overseas, she has come back to her Sydney roots. After 18 months hard work recording and relentless commuting between Sydney and London, she is launching her debut album “Fall in Love Again”
The Album is a breathtaking collection of some of the most beautiful songs ever written. Each track is exquisitely recorded and truly captures Virginia's voice and ability to touch emotions, qualities that you rarely hear anymore.
Recorded and mixed in London, Virginia enlisted the help of two of the UK's most gifted producers, Jason Perry and Julian Emery. The album features the wonderfully crafted arrangements of renowned string arranger Richard Cottle and London's finest musicians, such as the world famous London Telefilmonic orchestra.
Together they recorded a collection of very special songs, chosen because they had a unique influence on Virginia's life and musical career. Songs such as “ I Just Fall in love Again” and Air Supply's “Here I am” invoke special memories of her youth and represent a time in all our lives that only music can capture.
“Fall in love Again” is one of the most stunning albums to be released. From the moment you first listen to it, you will be hooked. Virginia's voice is simply breathtaking and everything from the arrangements, to the collection of timeless songs makes this album a joy to listen to again and again and again.
