Virtual Heresy est un groupe aux influences métal, hardcore, death formé en automne 2007 en partie par Johnny (Basse) et Gunther (lead guitar) ,par le biais de membre ayant quités le groupe il recontre ensuite Alexis (batterie) pour enfin etre au complet. Peu après, Gunther quitte le groupe par manque de motivation . Johnny et Alexis se retrouvent alors seul jusqu'en mars 2008 où ils sont rejoint par James (guitare) grace à une amie de Alexis. Le groupe se consacre alors à des reprises de hatebreed, killswitch engage, ratm, in flames, amon amarth, soulfly... et se destine maintenant a trouver un chanteur et de se créer un reputation en live ainsi qu'un futur projet d'enregistrer leurs chansons en studio .
