Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. At age 13, Virus began rappin’ on the porch for the fun of it. He spent his time in high school doing freestyle battles that evolved into producing mix-tapes and performing live. In 2002, he recorded his first solo project in his living room. Under the name Mr. Mask, 200 copies of "Intoxication" were printed and handed out on the streets for free. Virus then began working on his first professionally recorded project titled, “Professor Virus.” 1000 copies were printed and sold within only a few months! In 2005, Virus released, “The American Dream” that was a tribute to his Juggalo fan-base.
A few months later, Possibilities Are Endless Distribution (PAED) opened to the public. The PAED shop serviced musicians across the nation, specializing in retail, studio recording, and live performance. With a stage in the front, a recording studio in the back, and a store filled with merchandise (CDs, T-shirts, misc, etc.), the shop was the first and only of it’s kind. However, due to a conflict of interest with his business partner, Virus sold his half of the shop and invested in printing 5,000 copies of a local compilation called, “Arizona’s Under the Underground Compilation.” 100 copies were given to each artist to promote individually, and the rest were given out for free at the, “2006 Gathering of the Juggalos.”
Virus then teamed up with recording artist and CEO of Intrinz Ink. Records, who collaborated with him on a single entitled ”Area Code.” Shortly after, Virus placed his next solo project on hold and became Intrinzik’s hype man. The two then went on tour in 2007, in what was called the “Bad Mental Health Tour.” Returning home, both Virus & Intrinzik sold over 1,000 tickets to various live shows, resulting in performing at SOLD OUT Marquee events! With a steady flow of live shows on the books, the Underground Husltin compilation series was born. A track from Virus titled, ”If You Ain’t” was featured on Volume 2, along with 3 guest appearances on Intrinziks epic album, “Fallguy: Ressure6t7on.”
Virus then completed his long awaited, ”Developed Species” album in 2008, which available now! Currently, Virus is working on the launch of his production company that specializes in high-quality audio production and artist development.
