Sounds Like
Progressive metal, if it were played by very strange people. (It is also worthy to note that unlike all of the bands we have played with in this area, we have absolutely no "scene hardcore" influence in our sound).
Visionarium began in February 2006 originally as a normal metal band by Tubbs (Guitar) and Columbia (Drums) with Lee (Keys) and Robert (Bass) following soon after. As the band progressed, they realized that they would have to change their sound to realize their full potential. The first album (which the band has spent over 3 years creating) is a mix of progressive extreme metal, neo-folk, ambient and a subtle post-metal influence. The album has gone through many evolutions as the band has gained more knowledge of music and nearly every track has gone through changes to reflect the directions of their sound. The "final demo version" will be complete before June 2009.
Well the US elections are now over and Earth is a far better place. Can’t you feel the world shattering difference? Even the Red Planet has been held spellbound by these historic events.
We just spotted the Mars Lander putting billboards up on Mars with CHANGE spelled out in mile high letters. You should grab your binoculars and check this out.
Just look up. But you should be prepared to duck if you see any tools tumbling towards you from the international space station. Some stupid astronaut let his monkey wrench float away. On second thought, you should activate your Star Wars Defense System and blast the international space station out of existence! You can’t be too careful.
Hey thanks a lot! I was thinking much the same about your guys music - It is such a welcome change! Really excited for your guys' release! Hopefully I can catch a live performance sometime. Cheers!
