I wouldn't say that I sound like anyone else. Each and every person has a unique sound to a certain extent and are given their own talents. God has truly blessed me with musical abilities and I am greatful for that. I have a tendancy to like the west coast sound but I also like that dirty south sound too!
I was born and raised in the KCMO area. Made a lot of bad choices in my life. Dropped out of high school, got into drugs pretty heavy, was an alcoholic for a period in my life. The summer of 2006 I started attending Country Meadows Baptist Church on a regular basis and on September 17th 2006 I gave my life to the Lord and have since been totally on fire. Music is probably the biggest influence on teens today. They really "listen" to the words they hear in today's hip hop. Lucifer was the head of the choir. He deceived the angels through music. They were with God everyday but still were deceived by the music...the words. Once the beat is gone you still have the lyrics in your mind. Today's music is just filling our kids ears full of garbage.....sure there's real catchy beats but once again those words are still in their heads. Satan is opening up their minds and just dumping on them. I am trying...along with all my other brothers and sisters in Christ...to keep those same banging beats, but to glorify God and send a positive message. I have chosen hip hop music because 80% of today's youth listens to rap. My wife and I have been focusing on getting the youth of our inner cities off of the streets and into a safe environment so they can listen to the music they love but really hear the message I have put behind it. God has blessed me and I have traveled to many different states to spread His word. I also performed at the 2008 Holy Hip Hop Awards.
