----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ITALIAN ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I I VISIONI GOTICHE nascono nel 2007 dalla collaborazione tra Mattia M e Roby Tav che, seppure impegnati nei rispettivi progetti solisti, decidono di dar vita a questa nuova "creatura" fondendo i loro stili e le loro tendenze musicali.
La musica del gruppo, di non facile catalogazione, risulta contaminata dalle seguenti sonorità : dark, dark ambient, musica elettronica, horror music e gothic metal.
Il primo album (autoprodotto) della band vede la luce nei primi mesi del 2007 anche se la sua progettazione ed ideazione risale al novembre del 2006 quando ancora non erano stati formati i Visioni Gotiche..
Il disco, intitolato "VAMPIRES", è un concept album che ruota attorno alla figura del vampiro.
Questo essere misterioso viene visto sia nella sua versione storica sia attraverso le immagini fantastiche della letteratura e della cinematografia.
Sempre nel corso del 2007 i Visioni Gotiche,, grazie all'attività già avviata da Mattia M nel settore, si inseriscono nel circuito del cinema horror indipendente e si dedicano quasi esclusivamente alla realizzazione di colonne sonore per cortometraggi.
Il primo lavoro a cui partecipano è il cortometraggio "VitaEMorte" prodotto dal sito di Horrorlandia per la regia di Fabrizio Giansante (alias Contebiz).
Successivamente vengono contattati dalla Loboarts Productions di Alberto Genovese e realizzano la colonna sonora del cortometraggio "Pink Moon", un fanta/horror molto particolare che riachiama a certe produzioni cinematografiche di fantascienza degli anni '50.
Mentre vengono realizzati questi progetti, Mattia M studia la realizzazione di un corto/mediometraggio intitolato "SPIRITISM" di cui scrive soggetto e sceneggiatura.
Contattato dal regista indipendente Luigi De Conti, che rimane positivamente colpito dalla storia, decidono di realizzare il film che vedrà probabilmente la luce entro la fine del 2009..
I Visioni Gotiche, lavorando sulla storia, realizzano la colonna sonora ideale del film dando vita al loro secondo album "SPIRITISM".
Nel corso del 2008 arriva anche la collaborazione con il regista Davide Melini per le musiche del cortometraggio "The Puzzle" prodotto da Davide Melini (regista che vanta, come assistente alla regia, la partecipazione a due ottimi lavori come "Baciami Piccina" di Roberto Cimpanelli e "La Terza Madre" di Dario Argento) e la 73140323 Producciones Cinematográficas.
Il cortometraggio è stato realizzato in Spagna ed è stato doppiato anche in Italiano, inglese e francese.
Nell'ottobre del 2008 i Visioni Gotiche danno alla luce due album : il primo, TERRIFYING IMAGES è una raccolta di colonne sonore che la band ha realizzato per vari cortometraggi/lungometraggi (la cover del disco è stata realizzata dalla bravissima Sara Palladino). Il secondo è invece il terzo album ufficiale della band intitolato "IL SEGRETO DEL DEMONE PARTE 1" il cui schema portante è rappresentato da un racconto scritto da Mattia M.
In questo album la band evolve il suo stile : si tratta di un gothic rock/metal con venature dark/horror molto meno legato alle immagini e ai film rispetto al passato. Il nuovo album vede inoltre l'ingresso in formazione del bravissimo musicista Michi Guer. che da il suo contributo, sia come vocalist che come compositore, in due brani : "Ipnosi" e "Rituale Nero".
Nel gennaio 2009 la band viene contattata dallo scrittore Domenico Nigro per la realizzazione delle musiche del suo libro IMAGOSHOCK scritto con lo pseudonimo di Ruggero D.Sanguenero.
Sempre nello stesso periodo i Visioni Gotiche realizzano la colonna sonora del lungometraggio “L'invasione degli Astronazi” del regista Alberto Genovese e la colonna sonora del cortometraggio “L'origine dei demoni” del regista Davide Cancila.
I Visioni Gotiche realizzano nel 2009 anche il secondo capitolo di “Il segreto del Demone” : “IL SEGRETO DELDEMONE PARTE 2”.
Nasce l'idea di realizzare un doppio album intitolato “IL SEGRETO DEL DEMONE ( THE SECRET OF THE DEMON)” che raccolga sia “Il segreto del demone parte 1” ( con alcuni brani riarrangiati e con il supporto della cantante Laura D.) che “Il segreto del demone parte 2”.
Questa idea piace molto all'etichetta modenese NOTE VOLANTI EDIZIONI MUSICALI che si nteressa della produzione dell'album che esce come doppio CD con il titolo “IL SEGRETODEL DEMONE ( THE SECRET OF THE DEMON)..
... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ENGLISH ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The group VISIONI GOTICHE gets set up in 2007 by Mattia M and Roby Tav, who have the idea to give birth to this project, putting their musical experience and their style into it, although they both still work on their solo projects. Their music, which isn’t easily categorized. Takes counterpoints in the following genres: dark, dark ambient, electric music, horror music and gothic metal. The first album (self produced) is already realized in the first months of 2007, even though the music was produced in November 2006, when the group wasn’t existing yet. The disc - entitled VAMPIRES – is a concept album which turns all around vampires. This mysterious creature is seen in its storical background and the imagination surrounding it, created by films and books. Still in 2007 – thanks to the fore work of Mattia M – they can lend their music to the independent horror film production and so they focus on the realization of soundtracks for short movies. The first short movie they produce music for is the film “Vita e Morte” (“Life & Death”), which was produced by the members of the web page “Horrorlandia” for the register Fabrizio Giansante (aka Contebiz). Furthermore they get contacted by Lobarts Productions (by Alberto Genovese) and they produce the soundtrack for the short film “Pink Moon”, a very particular horror movie, which reclaims many themes of horror movies being produced in the 1950’s. Apart all these, Mattia M writes the script for a short movie entitled “SPIRITISM”. They get contacted by the director Luigi De Conti, who likes the story and decides to produce it. It is released in summer 2008. The group VISIONI GOTICHE also writes the music for the movie and so they finish their second album entitled SPIRITISM. As the year is on going, they are contacted by the director Davide Melini for writing the music for the short movie “The Puzzle”. This short film is released in Spanish, later in Italian, English and French language. In fall 2008 the group releases two albums: One is entitled “TERRIFYING IMAGES”, which contains a collection of various soundtracks and songs. The second album is the third official one, which gets entitled “IL SEGRETO DEL DEMONE PARTE 1” (“The secret of the demon, part 1”) which background story is written by Mattia M again. This album fully represents their genre: It’s a mixture of gothic rock/metal with some parts of dark/horror music and isn’t connected to the other movies anylonger. Furthermore the musician Michi Guer contributes to this album, by singing and composing two of the songs: “Ipnose” (“Hypnose”) and “Rituale Nero” (“Black ritual”). From now on, he will work more often together with the group.
In 2009 the Label Note Volanti Edizioni Musicali offers to Visioni Gotiche to relaese a double album with her, including both the first part of “Il segreto del demone” that the second part of “Il segreto del demone” just recorded by the band.
