Visions of Infinity started out in the summer of 2006. Todd, Gavin, and Carlos were originally members of Red Shift Theory, while Matt and Joe previously played in 13th Cadaver and Lynch. All members of the band were seeking a new direction musically, and initially the mix of different styles created some challenges for all involved. In February of 2007 the band went in to record a six song demo. Several shows followed, and audience response has generally been positive. The mix of influences in the band has led to a creative and unique sound in Salt Lake's underground metal scene. Currently, the band is in the process of recording a new CD with Bruce Kirby at Boho Digitalia Studios. Visions of Infinity is looking forward to reaching a broader audience with this release. We have shared the stage with several acts; A Horrible Night for a Curse (formerly Dying Rest Theory), Last of the Bloodline, Theme For a Murder, Breaux, Raze, Medea, Calibra, and well known acts such as Otep, For Today, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Carnifex,
3 Inches of Blood, and Poison the Well.
