8 years ago I first visited Rimini, armed with preconceptions. I presumed that the town was an Italian version of numerous holiday high-rise hells elsewhere. Instead I found a town rich in culture and tradition, and some of the best food in Italy!

L’associazione ONLUS “ASVO” indice la 1a edizione del ROCK IN MILICI, concorso musicale rivolto ad artisti emergenti. Il concorso è aperto sia a gruppi che a singoli musicisti di qualsiasi età e provenienza che presentino brani di propria esclusiva realizzazione, senza contratto discografico in corso e di ogni genere musicale (escluse la musica classica e la lirica, quindi pop, metal, rock, folk, indie, new wave, dark, post-rock, reggae, ska, punk, cantautorato, ecc.). Il festival si svolgerà nelle serate del 4 e 5 Luglio 2009.

I have been to Rimini, back in 2004. And it is a beautiful place. My boyfriend and his mates played footie out there against 3 other local supporters teams, but I turned it into a holiday.
We also went to San Marino, very nice and it was a lovely clear blue sky day. The ice cream is fantastic and talk about spoilt for choice!
