About me:
Newport Beach is approximately 50 square miles, of which 25 are water. Officially incorporated as a city on September 1, 1906, in the succeeding century, Newport Beach has grown to include the areas of Corona del Mar, Balboa Island, Newport Coast, San Joaquin Hills, and Balboa Peninsula.
