Here is a little bio about how Visitor got started. It began in early May of 2006 originally called "J Squared", an offshoot of members from the bands "Countenance", "Pendulum", and "Pali Andeo" as a solo project I Jason Shepherd got a gig at "The Raven". I took 2 weeks off from work and spent everyday writing a new song to come up with enough material to play the show. I met up with Joy Johns a current guitarist and bass player I had been working with in the other bands I was in. She had the time, liked the idea, and agreed to give it a go. The show at the Raven was a great success, and since then we have written new songs, defining our sound/image, and playing various venues in downtown Prescott, AZ like Cuppers, and Coyote Joes. We asked Chris Ozuna to record some drum tracks with us, and since then he has been full on member of Visitor. Despite his busy schedule as a fireman, and living in Surprize.
Two hot ladies were recently added as the new guitar and bass players. Jennifer Jassky(lead vocals/guitar) and Elsa Lazutin(bass). They picked up the songs quickly and were soon jamming and keeping up with Chris's crazy drum style. We were all ready to kick some ass playing Visitor's first show at Sundance's Place on August 24th. Since then we have played several shows, and there will be more to come. We will be seen out on Friday nights, rocking the house.
