   About The Visitors
The Visitors were born in Bridgwater 1998 AD. With no family to speak of, the band was left orphaned amidst the evils of a small post-industrial town. Taking its first steps on the circuit of working men's bars, pubs and gin-and-neon nightclubs, the Visitors' staple diet was a motivating force of unemployment, alcoholism and dire poverty. On this heady mixture of social apathy and carbohydrate, the band quickly grew to adulthood, blossoming into a glorious form of ex-teacher, ex-journalist, ex-kitchen salesman and The Most Dangerous Man in Somerset. For a while it courted with love, with sex, with drink, with obsession, then, with the release of its first CD; Flying to the Ocean Floor, the band acquired a more poetic experimental edge. This coincided with an expansion in performance venues as far and remote as Prague and Dartmoor Jail, now fully contrite and out on bail, The Visitors then recorded their second CD; Moving Darkly. Now, with a rawer edge and one of there tracks, "Down to the Sea" released by 25 Records, the Visitors began their latest project; Post Industrial Dark. It's is out now released on the DIY label Midnight Mango!!!

Why not take a listen to the ear-blistering version of 'Mary & Her Lover' we've just put up on our site?

I guarantee it's the best thing you'll hear all day.

Peace,

hi, our new website is finally launched today with our spanking new debut album 'dark side of the heart' available on the download page. the album is only 5 euros or you can buy each track for only 60 cents.

all tracks can be listened to on site at http://www.controlfreaksex.com/ or at http://www.nme.com/newmusic/controlfreak

we have kept down the price of the downloads cos we hate the rip off record industry and their cronies, over-charging the record buying public.

thanks for listening,

controlfreak

First comment - woo hoo! I love all of these songs. The singer has a relaxing yet haunting tone, really nice. I wish you all the best in your musical endeavours. Who knows, a U.S. tour in the future?
Peace, Eilis
