BIO
Christopher A. Sinclair, born and currently living in Vienna, Austria, first started electronic music making, and specifically making music with computers, in late 2006, after several unsatisfactory experiments with guitars and analog effects devices. Most of his work deals with the digital manipulation of concrete (sampled) sounds he creates himself.
His work is published both under the alias SSH Visor and under his own name on various netlabels, including TLHOTRA, Clinical Archives and TIBProd.
He is influenced by the "classic" electronic composers, like Stockhausen and Xenakis, as well as Krautrock, Sun Ra, Merzbow and several artists associated with the Mego label, among others.

Hey hey Sinclair, first thanx a lot for laying down the digital connection between us. Can't listen to your tracks right now but will sure do so tonight.
Those patches look very intruiging indeed. Long live the shredder !!!
Thanks for the add and the kind words. I have not heard the actual 3" yet, as I haven't picked it up from the post office, but I look forward to hearing what you and Tarmskrap have put together. Judging by the description in your blog it should be an interesting listen.
P.S. Most of the "broken" sound is due to my soundcard's shittiness being exceed only by my lack of sound compressing abilities. ;) If that's the brokenness I thought you meant.
I enjoyed your latest album (Scenarios 5-7). Your style has clearly matured a lot over a year.
I'm quite impressed, though also puzzled, by some of the very, very dry sounds you manage to come up with. For instance the sorts of left-right beeps just after the middle of 03_Spider_Webs_in_Metal_Bowls. Maybe that's the way you like it, I would add some kind of reverb or compress those sounds, though.
Parallel jungles is my favorite. Perhaps because of complex superposed rhythms one can feel in the "electric buzzs".
"Corroded Brass" reminded me of "Die Genaue Zeit" from "Einstürzende Neubauten - Zeichnungen Des Patienten O.T." album. Though It's not clear why. The conveyor belt sound?
Nice to see you're more and more productive. Actually seeing your page a few months back gave me the idea to set up a myspace page. We'll see how it goes, it is just starting.
