Many of Rockford's top players come together to celebrate the life of their good friend, Matt Brown. Matt was at Mary's last New Year's Eve having a great time with his friends and then later on that night he tragically passed away at home. Brown was a huge supporter of live music and loved watching his friends play music maybe more than anything. Matt was a regular down at Mary's who will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Local jam-band, Vista Cruiser, has developed a serious reputation for putting together a live show where everyone has a Jerry good time!
The Blue Moon Project is easily one of Rockford's best jam bands. This special event brings The Blue Moon Project to Rockford's oldest bar for their first appearance ever on the Mary's live scene!
Local reggae sensations, The Reggie, have rocketed to the absolute top of Rockford's live music scene. The group has a serious reputation for creating explosive reggae dance parties.!

Proceeds from the show will go toward a memorial bench in honor of Matt Brown. There have been some other benefits for the memorial and that money in combination with this Mary's show will most likely put enough money in the fund to pay for the entire memorial.
