I check out the Spice Channel whenever I can get a free moment to watch t.v. Okay, not really. Current favorite shows: My Name is Earl, The Office, Medium, The Apprentice, Crafters Coast to Coast/That's Clever.Books
I generally like non-fiction books about biz., art, design, crafting and silly stuff by the likes of PJ O'Rourke, George Carlin, etc. To be honest, I'm more of a short story and magazine kind of gal (I read tons of magazines--i.e. small biz, investing, crafting, fashion, design, art, blah, blah, blah). I like to be able to read something for 1/2 hour and get the whole story. I'm terrible about making time for myself to read a novel. But it does happen now and then and when it does I try to get through my plethora of books that populate 2 large bookshelves in my guest room. Amy Tan, Barbara Kingslover, Amy Castillo, Cervantes, and various other tomes by Latino authors reside on those shelves, waiting for attention. I've also been collecting various chick-lit titles that I'll get to eventually.Heroes
My kids. My son believes in everyone and that as long as there are superheroes, all will be okay. My daughter reminds me how cool a great pair of shoes make you look. My baby son who loves to smile...My folks....My hubby of 15 years who gets cuter every day and lovingly puts up with my crazy endeavors and has supported my business and the endless glitter and crafting evidence throughout the house.
