I have had vitiligo for 11 years and I am now writing a book about vitiligo and its effects on those who have it. It is such a misunderstood disease and I believe that the suffering we endure would be cut in half if everyone else had a better understanding of vitiligo. Also, because only 2% of the world's population has vitiligo, sometimes we feel lonely in our struggle. It is emphatic that we get our personal stories out there so that we can all connect. If you would like to tell your story about vitiligo, please contact me via email to be included in this international publication. Thanks
