Hello everyone, Vito are back and we wanted to update you on what we’ve been doing since you last heard, saw or touched us.

Three years on from the release of our debut album (Make Good Areas Disturbed) and subsequent European tour with Sophia, Vito, the 5 piece from Cardiff, have completed and are ready to release ‘Monument’ on the same Flower Shop Recordings label run by Robin Proper-Sheppard (God Machine/Sophia).

Monument is an album of music which is inspired and embraces the ideas of ‘legacy’ and tries to express a consciousness of what we leave behind. ‘Monument’ reflects our personal view that everything should be treated like it might be the only opportunity you get. This is reflected in the meticulous care taken writing and recording ‘Monument’ to make sure it is exactly how we wanted it to be both sonically and lyrically.

The album will be released on cd and available to download in late 2009 when we’ll also embark on another European tour to promote it - release dates and tour dates are yet to be confirmed. We again worked with our friend and Producer Charlie Francis on this album and we think he’s done a great job.
