Here's some stuff about my family and me, My Real Name, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll.. What I am a Singer/Songwriter. I was born in,Barranquilla, Colombia...I am Columbian and Lebanese. My fathers name is, William Mebarak Chadid. My mothers name is, Nidia del Carmen Ripoll Torrado. I have 4 brothers and their names are, Alberto, Edward, Moises, Tonino. I also have 4 sisters and their names are, Ana, Lucy, Patricia, Robin. I am 5' 2". I have no tatoos. My strong points are, Discipline and I am a Perfectionist. Oh I don't eat any candy. When I was younger in Colombia I listened to and still listen to Rock n' Roll. But I also listened to the Arabic music from my father. Writing in English was a major challenge. But I am doing it, I still need help from time to time but I got it down pretty good.
