Vanessa Vandy is a Finnish pole vaulter and song writer.
Since the age of 13 she started jumping pole vault and has a personal best of 4.30 both indoors and outdoors, her indoor one also being a new Finnish record since winter 2008. Her main accomplishments have been 1st place in the FIN-SWE championships 2007, 1st place in the indoor Finnish championships 2008 and 2nd place in the outdoor Finnish championships 2007.
Vanessas is apart from a pole vaulter also a songwriter. The piano was introduced to her at the age of 8 and she started creating own pieces of piano music when she was 11yrs old. After recieving a computer one year later her compositions where from then on recorded onto the computer. Today, 19yrs old, she has progressed a long way and is now a songwriter of Sugarhouse publishing in Vaasa, Finland.
